All Information at a Glance

For many bird species, sex cannot be reliably determined externally. A DNA test provides clarity here. Using 2-3 freshly plucked feather samples, at least approx. 3-4 cm in size, we analyze your bird’s genetic material and unequivocally determine its sex.

All sex determinations can be combined with health checks and DNA tests for infection diagnostics – simply check the box on the order form.

How the price advantage is NOT achieved:
All sex determinations are carried out in our laboratory using a molecular biological examination via PCR technology (Polymerase Chain Reaction). Compared to conventional methods, PCR is characterized by its high specificity and speed. We do not compromise on the quality of the examination.

DNA Analysis Process in the Laboratory
